Pay Range: $49,000 - $54,000 / year
Job Summary:
The Family Wrap Hawaiʻi (FWH) Supervisor under the direction of the Family Wrap Hawaiʻi Manager assists to ensure successful implementation of Family Wrap Hawaiʻi Program, including but not limited to the FWH Facilitators and Navigator supervision; outreach and networking with partner organizations; and facilitating, navigating, and recording Family Wrap Hawaiʻi meetings needed to meet goals and objectives of program.
The FWH Supervisor must demonstrate an active commitment to the EPIC `Ohana mission and vision, and strive to incorporate EPIC `Ohana’s values1 in all aspects of daily work.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning; and
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years case management or human services-related experience and/or training.
• Must have an understanding of group work and child welfare.
• Must be able to maintain an ethical, responsible, and professional attitude and demeanor under all circumstances in person, by phone, e-mail, and correspondence, in order to effectively and efficiently engage and maintain working relationships with families and professionals, who are undergoing complex and crises situations.
• Experience working with families whose children have been harmed or threatened with harm preferred.
• Experience in facilitation and/or mediation preferred.
• Individual with culturally relevant training and/or experience specific to the community served preferred.
• Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and maturity.
• Decisive and able to make tough decisions as required.
• Committed to quality and performance improvement.
• Successful criminal and child abuse and neglect background clearance as required by state regulations for those who work with children and families in the Child Welfare System.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, preferred. Additional training will be provided.
• Valid driver’s license, no-fault automobile insurance, acceptable motor vehicle abstract2, and access to an insured, reliable vehicle are needed.
